Hi Folks,

This article is dedicated to people who wish to upgrade themselves from Manual to Automation test profiles or to those who wish to choose automation testing as a career.

Before diving deep into any work. First, we need to build a foundation where the structure can stand. In our case, the foundation would be installing Java as we are going to write our scripts/code in Java language in selenium. 

The second foundation would be the tool or place where we will write the script. In the market, there are a number of tools available to write and execute scripts. It’s your choice which one you like as per the comfort. In my case, I would be using the Eclipse IDE.

There are other things also that would be required for the successful execution of the script, which I will discuss in the next lecture.

I would also like you to have an account in Github. So that if in future you need some clarification or have some doubt, you can revisit and verify the same. Also, you would require to install GitHub desktop in your computer system.
